This partnership aims to offer a highly reliable and flexible ocean freight network with an impressive schedule reliability target of over 90 percent. Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd have developed two distinct network options under the Gemini Cooperation:

- Vessels: Approximately 300
- Capacity: 3.4 million TEUs
- Services: 57 (27 mainliners, 30 shuttles)
- Cape of Good Hope Network:
- Vessels: Approximately 340
- Capacity: 3.7 million TEUs
- Services: 59 (29 mainliners, 30 shuttles)
These options are designed to provide robust solutions to the ongoing disruptions in the Red Sea, offering a flexible alternative through the Cape of Good Hope route.
