In his address, Mr. Sonowal emphasized India’s transition into challenging yet exciting times and the importance of pooling resources to realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for India as an Atmanirbhar Bharat and a developed nation by 2047. He further stressed ” There is a need for India to embrace this opportunity with top-notch seafaring skills, excellent maritime infrastructure, and a thriving maritime trade sector™.

The Minister’s visited and reviewed institute’s infrastructure, campus facilities, ship simulator room, firefighting sites, swimming pool, and more.
