Annual All India Nau Sainik Camp Concludes with a Focus on Youth Empowerment
The All India Nau Sainik Camp 2023 (AINSC 2023) recently concluded at the prestigious naval base, INS Shivaji, Lonavala, marking the end of a 10-day competition that brought together some of the best young cadets from 17 Directorates across India. Organized under the auspices of the Maharashtra Directorate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), this maiden camp at INS Shivaji has been a remarkable showcase of talent and teamwork.
Celebrating Young Cadet Excellence
Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh AVSM, VSM, the Director General of NCC, expressed his pride and enthusiasm for the achievements of the cadets during AINSC 2023 at INS Shivaji. He highlighted that the event not only spotlighted the remarkable talent of young cadets but also fostered a sense of camaraderie among the participants. Lt Gen Gurbirpal Singh acknowledged the unwavering support and resources provided by the Headquarters, Southern Naval Command, and INS Shivaji, emphasizing their commitment to nation-building.
A Test of Grit and Leadership
The competitions held this year included a wide array of activities designed to test cadets both physically and mentally, aimed at enhancing their leadership skills. The cadets from Maharashtra Directorate emerged as the winners of this year’s event, with the Directorate of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana securing the runners-up position.
